Pastoral Care

Rev. Patricia Cadle, who has been the Oncology Chaplain for more than 8 years at UNC Hospitals, can now be reached at 919-445-5400 Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the chaplain's office on the lobby level of the N.C. Cancer Hospital.

There are two sacred spaces located just around the corner from the Chaplain's Office on the lobby level (just down the hall from the Family/Patient Resource Center): a small reflection/meditation room; and a simple, beautiful chapel.

These spaces are open every day of the year, 24 hours a day, to provide a quiet place of peace and renewal for patients, visitors and staff affected by cancer.

Chaplains are also available for religious, spiritual and emotional support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. On week nights and throughout the weekend an on-call chaplain can be reached by calling 919-966-9205, paging 919-123-3288 or calling the operator at 919-966-4131 and asking for the on-call chaplain.
